I haven’t had any time to update…I am sorry! Food Social has been taking over my life.

With that being said, I probably won’t update for a few weeks. After that though, I will have a ton of updates! Woop woop. Hard work sucks, my goodness. It’s the only way to get the hell on with anything meaningful though.

Food Social was a success. A huge success. I am very excited about that and what I am more excited about is the experience. It’s the experience that will enrich your life, not money or the success. Those are byproducts of experience.

All of the things I have been through have taken me down the path to today and it’s been quite an interesting ride. I’ve been involved with so many wonderful people in my life so far and although some of them are not around anymore, they are greatly appreciated. My love for them is stored in a special place.

I think that photo sums things up nicely. On that same note, I will be taking some time to turn into a machine (how’s that for a smooth transition). I feel so detached lately and it’s such a huge sign for me to push forward. I have to take advantage of this opportunity while I can and crank out the project that will take me “out of this world”. Now, how abstract and unconnected did that sound? Lol. I will have some big news 362 days from now.

Think about this:

We as a human race are becoming extremely advanced. Maybe not on a universal scale, but if you compare what we can do today to what we were doing 500 years ago, it’s night and day (cue dark ages joke…I don’t have one unfortunately). I’m going to go off on a bit of a tangent here, but follow me. In the animal kingdom, you’ll always find a “leader” of the pack. Whether it’s taking care of the family or leading the hunt, there is always a leader in the group. Since humans evolved from apes, we too have this “leader code” hardwired into our genetics. The celebrity factor is an embarrassing example to use, but it’s an ideal example. Aside from celebrities of course, we have worldwide leaders. People who we look up to, people we believe will take care of the bigger problems effecting our countries and the world. Let’s take it one step further: How about God. Do you believe there is a god? If so, do you look up to him?

The question I want to bring up is this: At this stage of evolution, have we outgrown our leader dependencies? Years ago, human beings were no where near what we can do today. We needed someone to guide us, someone to help us along the way, someone to look up to. As we continue to evolve further away from our ape ancestors and push the boundaries of intelligence (both human and artificial), will we still look toward leaders to show us the way?
